Egg Drop

Josh had a project at school to make a contraption that could keep an egg from breaking when dropped from the top of the school. He and his dad spend a couple of days planning and forming, and this was the result:

Those old Nebraska plates came in handy for something, and of course we had to do our own drop from the roof of our house to test it. It was wrapped so well that we didn't dare undo it to see if it worked or not, so Josh took it to school, complete with parachutes, to drop at school. His principal liked the design, and after the drop was complete, he opened it up at school to find that it had survived two falls. Nice job, Josh!!

We did that once but my egg died. What a good idea!
