We got our first snowfall of the year Monday night. The kids were very excited, and couldn't wait to go out and play in it. It started while we were out looking at Christmas lights for Family Home Evening, and even got pretty hairy for a while. The wind was driving the snow, and the flakes were big, so in some places it was almost white-out conditions. All the next day, Tanner kept asking me if I would come out and "have a snowball fight with gloves" with him. He had learned the night before how cold the snow was with bare hands. He and Parker were trying to hard to get themselves dressed to go out and play in the snow. Now I have slick roads to traverse everyday taking kids to school. I have been worried about not having a white Christmas here, so I'm hoping that this bodes well for having snow on Christmas day.

I'm jealous. I was just thinking today how much I wish it would snow. We may get some "skiffs" this weekend but I want a blizzard. Cancel school, stay in jammies, watch movies - blizzard. Just once - then it can be warm again. lol
