Things, They Are A'Changing

Well, as you can see we changed the template on the post and lost a few things, but we'll work on getting them back eventually.

Things have been a little hectic at our house for the last week or so, or at least it seems that way to me. They kids are back in school, but life has sure seemed upended lately. It was nice to have a lazy day today and not have to go anywhere or do anything beyond normal mom stuff - laundry,cooking, a little cleaning. I got to spend some time with Parker today as he took 5-6 steps several times. How I love being a stay-at-home mom!!! There is truly not much better, I believe. I have not always loved it quite so much, but the more I am home with my children, the more I know that this is where I need to be and I am so grateful for a husband who wants me to be home with the kids as much as I want to be home with them.

Speaking of children, just want to share a couple of pictures with you. The first is just my sweet Parker, who really loves his bath time. The second and third need a little explanation. Tanner got down from the dinner table and was really quiet for a few minutes. Then he came up to us and said, "That's yucky!!" He had found Kaitlin's plaque showing tablets she got from the health fair. You know, the pink ones you chew that show you where you need to brush. Later, we found where he had spit the offending grossness out - on my couch. It's still pink in spots. Where's a traveling band of gypsies when you need one?
