What A Day!

Those of you with kids know how fun life is when they are sick. Ok, now that you have that feeling in your mind, multiply it by three. Yes, three. Josh had an ear infection that started last night. He came to get me at 1 a.m. and we were up together most of the time until it was time to get the other kids up for school. Tanner and Parker have been sick since Sunday with fevers, runny noses, diarreah, and altogether cranky behavior. Parker even added the bonus of throwing up, which happened all over me last night. For those of you who have never experienced baby throw up, consider yourselves lucky. I think that he is just so congested that when he gets choked up it sets him to throwing up. He just couldn't stop it last night, or tonight at the dinner table as he was trying to eat some noodles.

Of course, Shane was gone tonight, so he escaped the grossness and Kaitlin was good enough to help clean up while I bathed a baby. She is such a blessing in our family!! My two arms have not seemed quite enough today to take care of all that needed to be done. Parker has wanted to be held almost all day. The upside is that I have had a lot of snuggle time with him, which is rare now that he is mobile.

So, between lack of sleep with the youngest two being sick since Sunday, and Josh's all nighter last night, I am exhausted. Shane took more than his fair share all week since he is a better late night owl than I am (I don't even come close), but he is gone to the Idaho Potato Conference tonight, so I might try getting to bed early. How would that be? I'm just ready for all to be healthy again. Maybe next week?

I think your spread your gomboo through IM last night. Guess what my kids woke up with this morning?! Coughing and fevers. BOO!

I hope you had a restful night's sleep and things are better today.

I HATE germs! You try and try to keep kids healthy, then its some random person in the grocery store or somewhere that does you in. Ugh. I hope all are feeling better soon.
