How Well Do I Know Shane?

I was reading my sisters' blogs and realized that I have been tagged again. This time you get to hear about Shane.

All you ever needed to know about my Husband:

What is his name? Shane Paul Clayson

How long have you been together? We started dating 13 years ago this month.

How long did you date? We dated for about 4 months before we were engaged, then were married 3 months later.

How old is he? Real age - 35. At heart - sometimes he's older and sometimes he's the same age as our kids.

Who eats more? Usually he does, but I've had my moments.

Who said I love you first? He did, late one night outside my apartment. It came as a very lovely and welcome surprise.

Who is taller? He is, unless I'm wearing big high heels and he's shoeless. Then we're about the same.

Who can sing better? I love the way he sings, but he would probably say I do. He used to sing "It's Hard to be Humble" in the shower after we were first married. It was so funny. =>

Who is smarter? Depends on the subject. He is more real life smart and I am probably more book smart - depending on the day. =>

Who does the laundry? I do. And it never ends.

Who pays the bills? I do, but he told me last week he wants to take over for a while so he knows just what's involved.

Who mows the lawn? We usually do about 50/50 when we had the riding mower. The push mower I usually do more because I have more time.

Who cooks dinner? Usually I do, although he fixes it whenever I need him to. He makes a great chili and multi-bean soup.

Who drives? Usually he does. I get really sleepy lately when I drive. Safer that way.

Who is more stubborn? He is, although he might dispute that.

Who kissed who first? He kissed me first. We were driving down a little used road when he pulled right over and laid one on me. It was so romantic.=>

Who asked who out first? He asked me out, although I made the first move to get him to do it.

Who proposed? He did, after a week of "I've got a surprise for you...."

Who has more friends? He does.

Who is more sensitive? Well, I probably am.

Who has more siblings? He does - he has 9 and I have 6. We are both the oldest in our families.

Who wears the pants? I think we try to wear them together, but sometimes it gets crowded in there. => Then I try and let him wear them alone.
